The transformer substation is the heart of your facility’s power supply. An unplanned outage means stopped production and high costs — while regular maintenance costs a fraction of an unexpected failure or transformer replacement.

We take comprehensive care of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) transformer substations: from regular inspections and diagnostics to emergency service and modernisation. We keep your operating and inspection documentation in order and design a maintenance plan tailored to the size and operation of your substation.

What substation management and maintenance includes

Regular inspections and maintenance

HV and LV substations — visual and instrument-based checks.

Switchgear cleaning and inspection

Busbars, insulators and joints — the most common sources of failure.

Transformer diagnostics

Including thermal imaging that reveals overheating before it causes a failure.

Protection, fusing and earthing

Checks of components critical for the safety of people and equipment.

Emergency service

Fast fault resolution during unexpected outages.

Switch room modernisation

Reconstruction of older switch rooms and replacement of ageing components.

How the cooperation works

1

Site survey and condition assessment — we identify the substation type, equipment age and current condition.

2

Maintenance plan and quotation — we recommend the scope and interval based on your operation.

3

Maintenance or repair — with emphasis on safety and minimal disruption to your operation.

4

Report and recommendations — you receive a clear record of the work performed and the equipment condition.

5

Regular service and standby — we take care of future cycles and any faults.

Frequently asked questions

How often does a substation need maintenance and inspections?

Statutory inspections and tests are carried out at intervals set by law, depending on the equipment type and environment. We recommend preventive maintenance regularly, usually once a year.

Can you respond to an emergency?

Yes, we provide emergency service. After you report a fault, we get back to you promptly and arrange the fastest possible solution.

Do you also maintain older switch rooms?

Yes. We can not only maintain older switch rooms but also modernise and reconstruct them and replace ageing components.
